Journal
A visual artist's diary
Salut! Barcelona
I have just returned from 3 wonderful days spent in Barcelona with my man... A romantic weekend, as they say.
Nice reward!
When I see these photos, I think that my LIFE painting really belongs in this family!!
Black is beautiful and warm!
Little "rant" at the beginning of the week to my friends, buddies, acquaintances, and even strangers... I am fine, even very well, even when my paintings are gray, black, "dripping" as some say!
Cinema
I saw a good movie recently... "Roman de gare," the latest film by Lelouch.
Not in the mood for blogging these past weeks....
And yes I admit... I haven't been blogging for several weeks... I took a break after working hard for 6 months. No new paintings either (except for one or two commissions) and that's not good!
Everything's okay, I've got this!
Rest assured, the moment of weakness has passed.....I'm fine, I'm managing the pre-exposure well.
Small form
It's a bit low energy at the moment... a lot of doubts and anxiety about my upcoming exhibition (May 3 at AGF space in Lyon). Not much going on at the movies... Running low on energy... Stop, I'll stop complaining!
Cinema: "together, it's everything"
It's been a few days since I watched this movie that I found touching, human, fresh, and very well played by Guillaume CANET (masculine and fragile at the same time as we like them...) and Audrey TAUTOU.
A bit of cinema...
Among the long list of movies I wanted to watch, I didn't have time to watch much... painting is really captivating!
Long live Barcelona!
I went on a 3-day weekend trip to Barcelona...
I would like to talk to you about cinema...
I would like to talk to you about good films, discoveries, vibrant moments, but I have seen few movies lately that have moved me or simply pleased me.
The "princess attitude"
Do you have one like that at home?
Exhibition of Robert Rauschenberg in Paris
If you go to Paris, go see the Rauschenberg exhibition at Beaubourg.
Anyway, I wanted you to know a little about my workshop...
And yes, this is where I work, where I use paints, coatings, varnishes, where I sketch, where I write to you, where I think about collections (yes, redheads can think too...), where I also have doubts...
"The Departed" by Scorsese.....
I just went to see this excellent movie...bravo to Scorsese for his talent, his energy!
Two enchanting and moving books for young and older girls...
"Cyrano" and "Forgotten or Unknown Princesses" by Gaultier.Languereau editions are two beautifully illustrated books by Rebecca Dautremer. This illustrator portrays characters and worlds that are both refined, mysterious, roma...
A magnificent book combining cuisine and painting!
"A Kitchen as Large as a Garden" is a book that touches me, combining two of my passions, painting and cooking.
