My old buddy, or rather I should say my old friend Guytou, has just moved into 400 m2 of new, modern, and quite stylish premises. He needed a painting for his 25 m2 office.
We first defined the format: a horizontal rectangular format of 1.5m x 1m to go above a console, facing it.
Then, there was a color constraint: it absolutely had to match the office ambiance, with contemporary furniture and two chocolate walls crossed by a horizontal mauve strip.
Finally, I wanted to integrate some text, and "just create" comes from a conversation where he told me that starting a business was his passion, just for the pleasure of creating, not for chasing money and recognition...
I found that very beautiful!

After a lot of thinking, a few joyful lunches here is what I define...
It will be necessary to bring warmth and material to counteract the smooth and "new" aspect of the walls and furniture...
I will bring roundness and verticality to contrast with the horizontal strip to create balance
I will work with the colors chocolate, beige, grey, and mauve to create harmony with the colors of the office and to recall, with a touch of golden green, the main color of all the public-facing office spaces.
