New section, new contemporary abstract paintings that I will try to tell you the story of...
The idea:
I bought a painting book years ago called "Black paintings".
This fantastic book discusses black canvases created by Robert RAUSCHENBERG, Ad REINHARDT, Mark ROTHKO, and Frank STELLA.
I particularly enjoyed the work of Robert RAUSCHENBERG and was inspired by it to create my series of abstract paintings.

The achievement:
The canvases are coated with glue and I have collaged pieces of torn newspapers, highlighting certain themes or images that are dear to me.
Next comes the work of glazing and flat colors to partially cover the writing of the newspapers.
To recall my source of inspiration and to provide a better visual impact, I used the typography of the words "BLACK PAINTING", which I find interesting and graphic, on each of my contemporary paintings.

Once again, the geometric structure of my paintings contrasts with the tearings and random positioning of newspapers...
As I mentioned in the first post, this "unstructured/structured" effect is very present in my work...
Could it be that some memories from my years of scientific studies are opposing my new visual and essentially sensory approach to things?!
